Pianos écrasants, cuivres ronflants, symphonies de violons mis au supplice, cliquetis métalliques qui donnent la migraine, chœurs occultes autant féminins que masculins : blood rites of the hex temple invoque en apparence presque tous les codes musicaux des films d'horreurs, telle une encyclopédie, mais ça va bien plus loin car ces sonorités sont liées par un black metal anxiogène à la limite du drone et une batterie hasardeuse qui trébuche. En à peine quinze minutes, le cauchemar est infini.
